Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Baseline app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Baseline. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and A2 Foundry, Inc., a Delaware corporation.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States, Canada, or Brazil to use Baseline. By using Baseline you represent that you meet these requirements.
What Baseline Is
Baseline is a voice-first companion app designed to support aging adults and their families. It facilitates communication, coordination, and personalized daily assistance within a private family circle. Baseline is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional healthcare.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at contact@baselinecompanion.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You agree not to use Baseline to:
- Harass, harm, or deceive other users
- Upload content that is illegal, abusive, or violates the rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
- Use the service for any purpose other than its intended personal, family use
Content You Provide
You retain ownership of the content you submit to Baseline, including voice inputs, messages, and photos. By submitting content, you grant A2 Foundry a limited license to use that content solely to provide and improve the Baseline service, consistent with our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right to share any content you submit.
Health Data
If you choose to connect health tracking devices, you do so voluntarily. Baseline uses this data only to provide you with personalized insights as described in our Privacy Policy. Baseline is not a healthcare provider and health insights provided are for informational purposes only.
Subscriptions and Payment
Baseline currently offers access during a pilot period. We intend to introduce a paid subscription in the future, likely on a per-family monthly basis. When paid plans are introduced, we will provide clear notice of pricing and terms before any charges apply. At that time, additional payment terms including cancellation and refund policies will be provided.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at contact@baselinecompanion.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use Baseline in a way that could harm other users or the service.
Disclaimers
Baseline is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. To the fullest extent permitted by law, A2 Foundry disclaims all warranties.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, A2 Foundry's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of Baseline shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Baseline after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
